How to Afford Designer Clothes in College

TOP (*) || JEANS || BAG || SHOES (*)

In this social media age, where FOMO is becoming the complete norm, I often hear college girls envying fashion bloggers and other Insta stars for their seemingly “perfect” lives.

Along with those picture perfect moments are also, typically, killer outfits. After all, isn’t this part of what makes us girls jealous of these social media mavens in the first place? Not only do they jet set around the world experiencing the best of each and every city under the sun, but they do it in style

Maybe I’m just speaking for myself, but lusting after clothes that are WAY out of my budget (which I typically stumble upon through street style blogs or Instagram) is just another day in the life of a broke-a** college girl. Ya know?

5 Must-Know Tips for Self-Care on the Go

When life gets crazy (as it usually does), it’s not uncommon to find my car parked outside of a 7-Eleven as I dash inside to grab some refreshment like LIFEWTR before meetings. I’m constantly on the go, and nothing really tops this in terms of convenience. Trust me, I’m all about convenience.

The Weekend Edit: 36 Hours in Pittsburgh

Ahh another week, another “Weekend Edit”.

This weekend was particularly fun, because I was in Pittsburgh visiting Richard & Pixie, our little Chi-Pom (Chihuahua x Pomeranian) pup. I wasn’t able to stay long, since I had class this morning, but the short little vacay was much needed and appreciated.

Also: for those of ya who don’t know, R. is stationed in PA this semester for an internship, while I’m here in New York finishing up my undergrad degree. So, even just 36 hours spent together is better than nothing!

25 Self Care Sunday Ideas That Are Totally Free

Ahh, self care. The oh-so-trendy topic that’s simply everywhere on the web right now. It sounds very Gwenyth Paltrow if you ask me, but I love that #treatingyoself is actually becoming a legitimate practice.

I mean, if you’re not taking care of yourself, what ARE you doing?

Am I right?

I do think that there’s this huge misconception though that self care needs to be some elaborate, expensive, time consuming, etc. process. In reality, self care is a gold mine for us boss ladies.
