One of the first things I prioritized when I started to focus on my health more was staying hydrated. There’s so many of us who don’t drink nearly enough water! Not to mention, I’ve been known to get major headaches and dizziness if I haven’t hydrated properly. Even though I’m more conscious nowadays about drinking enough water, I’m still always seeking new ways to incentivize myself to get enough of it (see this post on 15 Non-Boring Ways to Drink More Water). Not only does this make me feel healthier, but it also nips those soda cravings right in the bud. In addition to creating all sorts of fruit-infused water recipes to keep my water intake up, I’ve also started taking advantage of the FIJI Water home delivery service. I’ve always loved FIJI Water, which actually does come from the islands of Fiji. I still remember in elementary school how…

Many of my favorite memories from college involve sitting around the kitchen table at our old apartment. My three roommates and I would congregate here naturally, discussing all sorts of topics. Whether it was about that one group project we just couldn’t bear, or bigger topics like life after graduation, the horrors of childbirth, and our stances on plastic surgery, we always had something to talk about. In addition to our random, both silly and serious convos, I also remember us drinking quite a bit of coffee. Whether it was cold brew or french pressed, at least one of us could always be found with a bit of liquid gold in our mug during these hangout sessions. And once one of us discovered coconut creamer? It was all over… That’s one of the reasons I was so excited when illy coffee sent me over some of their products to try.…

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #SkinClearingMakeup #CollectiveBias How the HECK is August almost over already? I’m blown away at how fast this summer has flown by. Many of my college friends are packing up to head back to school, which seems impossible! Not to mention, trying to make plans with everyone before they go back to college is pure chaos, haha. As I mentioned in this post, I’m a bit bummed out about not going back to school. Since I graduated a year early and many of my friends have another year to go, I’ve definitely caught a bit of FOMO. However, I’m enjoying post-grad life as best I can and am oddly more excited to share some back to school content now than I have been in previous years, since I kind of feel like an expert. I…

“5 Things You Need in Your Life This Week” is a recurring series on HollyHabeck.com. New edits are published every Friday, and the intent is to give readers a concise list of amazing thoughts/projects/trends to try over the weekend and into the next week. I hope that you are as inspired as I am by these finds!  +++ Hello, hello! Today is very exciting, because we’re bringing back“5 Things You Need in Your Life This Week”. I started this weekly series last February (see the first edition here), but things fizzled when I started to focus on rebranding and designing a new site in the spring. Now that all of that good stuff is done, I’m pumped to reinstate “5 Things You Need in Your Life This Week” as a weekly series again, with a new edition premiering each Friday. I hope you love it! Let’s get to it ☺️ … 1. A Frozen…

If you snoop around this site for even just a little while, one of the things you’re sure to notice is my undying love for subscription boxes. There’s just something fun about ’em, you know? After all, there’s nothing I love more than coming home to a pretty pink package sitting on my doorstep…especially when I know it’s going to be jam packed with killer products (that I probably wouldn’t be able to afford on their own 😅). Though I’m pretty much blown away every time Popsugar treats me to one of their Must Have Boxes, this month was particularly special. It’s their 5th birthday! AKA, this August marks Lisa Sugar’s 5th year in curating her and her editor’s favorite items for this box. In celebration of this milestone, I wanted to share with you guys some of the reasons why I think it really is a “Must Have”. If…

It’s that time again…back to school season. It’s particularly strange-feeling for me this time, since I graduated college in May. Therefore, this is the first time in, errrr 16 YEARS (!!!), that I’m not getting ready to go back to school. And in all honesty? I’m kind of bummed. Some of you may know that I graduated college a whole year early (more on that process here), so it does feel like I’m getting a bit jipped on the whole experience. I also miss my friends now more than ever, especially knowing that total strangers will soon be moving into our little apartment we were calling home just a few months ago. As ready as I was to head for the hills last semester, not going back to college this fall feels like the true end of an era. As they say, all good things must come to an end. Annnnnnd…

Guys, how is it AUGUST already? I feel like it was just yesterday I was graduating, and now the summer is practically over! I have to admit though, I’m kind of ready for fall. I’m totally unashamed of being the most basic of #basicwhitegirls, and I’m entirely ready to park my ass at the campfire, sip on a pumpkin spiced latte, and simultaneously slather on my seasonal Bath & Body Works s’mores lotion (but seriously, their s’mores scents are to. die. for.). That all being said, there are a few things I’m loving about this month. After all, this summer has totally been the season where I’ve found the most beauty products I’ve loved in a long time. AKA, there’s just no way I couldn’t share. I actually feel like I need to do a bit more experimenting and maybe post about some of my favorite beauty brands more often (seasonally…
