Thank you to Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks — While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion for sponsoring today’s post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.
Over the past month, I’ve been detailing my experience with a new diet plan called Always Eat After 7 PM.
My main goal was to get back to the healthy lifestyle that I had once had a few years ago, and build healthy habits that I’d be able to keep up with despite my busy schedule.
If you want to read about all the things that inspired me to try the Always Eat After 7 PM plan, check out that first blog post here.
I’ve also shared the details of the plan through an interview with the author and an update on some of my favorite recipes from the book so far.
Overall, I can say I’ve been really impressed with the Always Eat After 7 PM diet plan.
It hasn’t been so restrictive that I want to give up, yet I still feel like I’m making healthy choices for my body while I’m following it.
What more can you ask for in a diet?
I also really like that this plan includes three phases — The 14-day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results, The Main Phase where you’ll learn exactly which foods to eat when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals, and The Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good.
Moving forward, I’ll be sticking to The Lifestyle Plan to help me maintain my new healthy habits for the long term.
One of the most important things I look for in a healthy eating program is if I’ll be able to keep up with it, and I truly think that I’ll be able to maintain the principles I’ve learned in Always Eat After 7 PM for the long term.
Joel Marion’s Always Eat After 7PM program really does make dieting easy and eliminates 90% of reasons for resistance.
When you can still eat your favorite foods and don’t have to feel hungry anymore late at night, there’s not much to stop you from carrying on with the plan.
In my opinion, that’s what makes it so great!
The book says it best, “Fact is, most diets are extremely narrow with regard to food choices and variety, and many even limit entire macronutrients altogether over the course of the entire program (think low-carb and low-fat diets). Three months with no carbs? No thanks. Such practices not only are entirely unnecessary, but make for a miserable, unsustainable experience.”
This is definitely a description of some of the diets I’ve tried before, which helped shed light on how flexible Always Eat After 7 PM is compared to traditional diets.
Honestly, not having to give up carbs or dessert kind of makes it feel like it’s not a diet at all.
How does the Always Eat After 7 PM plan sound to you though?
Would you try it, knowing that you don’t have to adhere to all the popular diet myths to establish healthy eating habits?
