First things first, it has been WAY too long since we’ve done a fashion-related post here on the blog. Now that R. is back home from his internship in Atlanta though (read more about our time in Georgia here, here, & here), I’m really hoping to shoot some more looks and get back into it. This post was the first that Rich and I have been able to collaborate on in awhile, and feels so good to see it come together!

My Favorite Bangle & Other Beaded Bracelets
Last year, I shared the stories behind four of my favorite pieces of jewelry. This post desperately needs to be updated (it doesn’t even include my engagement ring 😅), but I feel like we need to talk jewelry again here in the meantime.
Quick disclosure though…you guys should know that I haven’t always been that into jewelry.
*gasp*
It’s true. I didn’t really own a lot of pieces when I was younger, and I wasted a lot of money on low-quality, one time wear items. Nowadays, my collection is growing. I’ve received some really beautiful pieces as gifts from family over the past few years, and I’ve also made a few purchases of my own as I’ve grown to enjoy it more.
My favorite pieces are those that I feel express my personality and can go with whatever I want to wear on a given day. That’s why I was so excited to discover Trollbeads a few months ago (do you guys remember when I first posted about them here?).
I love Trollbeads, because they’re all about custom jewelry. Through their site or in their stores, you can build your own custom beaded bracelets. There’s over 600 beads to choose from, from over 100 jewelry designers from around the world. The talent the company sources from is incredible.
From choosing the finish of your bangle, to selecting different glass beads and other charms, there’s so many ways to make it personal. That’s the kind of jewelry I love and actually wear.
Speaking of the pieces I’ve been wearing lately, I just recently got a beautiful Sterling Silver Twisted Bangle. I then added the Love Conch Bead, the Strawberry Quartz Bead, and the White Pearl Bead. Together, I feel like these three beads pefectly express both my feminine style and my love for summer!
In addition to these three beads, I also sometimes add my Peach Sorbet Bead from my Peach Sorbet Bangle to stack them. I love filling up each bangle and continuing to add to my collection.
Overall, I am so excited about this new bangle! It’s absolutely stunning, and the quality is just on point. The beads are handcrafted, and I just can’t get over the level of detail and beauty in each one of them as I add them to my bangles and build my collection.
For someone who never really wore a lot of jewelry before, I’m still constantly finding myself reaching for one of my Trollbeads bangles before I walk out the door each day! I’m pretty much obsessed, and I know you will be too 😚
