So I’m kind of on a Valentine’s Day kick here. Last week Richard gave you guys the lowdown on unexpected gifts for yo’ men, and this week I’m talking healthy(ish) desserts. Because…why not? Whether you’re fully committed or single and ready to mingle, V-Day is worth celebrating. Celebrate your relationship, your dog, your business, or just YOURSELF. It’s all about loving the life you live and manifesting those passions daily. Plus, it’s an excuse to wear pink, drink out of pretty paper straws, and take plenty of Instagram-worthy pics. What’s not to love?
Also: a little life update before we get to the real goods (aka the recipes) — I’ve been on a bit of a health kick lately, and I think it’s something that I want to start reflecting more frequently on the blog (hence the healthy V-Day roundup). Don’t fret, there will still be plenty on fashion, beauty, college, lifestyle, etc. content to enjoy, but just a lil’ warning that that’s the direction I’m heading down right now! I’ve been terrified to niche down a bit, but I can see that it’s necessary if I want to continue to grow as both a blogger and creative in general. BUT, like I’ve said time and time again, it’s all about balance for me (both w/ health and life in general), so the changes you see will be gradual, and I’ll still be covering my usual topics. If you guys have any questions, feel free to drop them in the comments! Let me know if you love or even hate this idea, because I genuinely want to know!
