I swear, there’s something about the months from September to November that make them zip by at lightning speed each year. I was looking at my calendar the other day planning some upcoming content, and I was absolutely shocked to see that we are officially just seven weeks out from Christmas as of today. And Hanukkah? The celebrations commence in less than a month.
Long story short folks, the holidays are here.
I’m always that person that complains when stores put out their holiday decorations in October, and yet I’ve found myself frantically shopping for last-minute presents on December 24th WAY too many times to count.
This year though, I’m committing to starting my holiday preparations early. It’s our first year in our new house, and I want to be able to actually enjoy it rather than spending the whole time stressing out because the holiday season snuck up on me yet again.
That’s why I’m so excited to be sharing my first holiday gift guide of 2018 here on the blog today. I’ve been doing my research early this year to scour some of the best holiday finds for both yours and my loved ones, and I just can’t wait to share.
Gift guides were some of my earliest posts when I first started blogging, and I still remember making the original collages in my freshman dorm room back in the day! I had so much fun looking at and recommending products, and the holiday season still remains one of my favorite times of the year when it comes to blogging and social media.
Today I’ve teamed up with adidas to share some of my favorite unique gift ideas for her. The amazing thing is, you don’t even have to be an athlete to enjoy many of these picks. I wear adidas on so many different occasions, whether I’m going for a walk around my neighborhood or simply lounging at home and looking for something comfy to wear.

I have to say, my adidas sweatshirts are some of my favorites that I own. They’re great for working out, but I also love to pair them with leggings and sneakers for a cute, sporty look.

Another gift idea I love this season is a great backpack. Not only is this perfect for athletes looking to bring a few things to and from the gym, but I also like this gift for frequent travelers as well.

adidas Bodysuits
While it may seem counterintuitive to be gifting bodysuits this time of the year (at least if you’re living on the east coast, like me), if you’ve got a friend or family member who likes to getaway this time of the year to warmer places then this may just be the perfect find.
adidas also has some long-sleeved bodysuits as well, but I’m totally loving the 3-Stripes Bodysuit pictured above, which I think would be perfect for my upcoming tropical travels this January!

Last but not least, is a great pair of sunglasses. I wasn’t aware that adidas sold sunglasses until recently, but now I’m totally obsessed.
A nice pair of sunglasses is an investment, and I always think that the kinds of gifts a recipient may not buy for themselves but would still love to have make for some of the best, most appreciated gifts.
Wow, that was a lot of gift ideas! I always find it so hard to choose when it comes time to buy gifts, but I hope I planted a bit of inspiration in your mind for the next time you’re out shopping.
My biggest piece of advice when it comes to finding the perfect gift is to pay close attention to what the person is talking about in the months leading up to the holidays. If you’re shopping together, pay close attention to what they pick up and what they actually purchase. This should give you a good indication of the things they value!
I also like to choose gifts based on what I would like to receive, too. I use this method when I’m not totally sure what the person would want, but I know that they are similar enough to me that they would probably like something that I would like.
