15 Holiday Makeup Gift Sets You’ll Actually Want to Buy

Is it too soon to start talking about holiday makeup gift sets this year? I started drafting this post on Halloween…how un-festive of me! However, I was shopping around ULTA last week and noticed that these makeup gift sets are already virtually flying off the shelves! I wanted to make sure to do my research early this year and share with you guys the products that are personally my favorite out of all the holiday collections released so far, so that you can get your hands on them before they’re gone.

Contrary to a lot of gift guides published this time of the year, I’ve actually had experience trying a lot of these products or brands in the past. If not, I’ve done my research to make sure they’re worth your time + money. So, I hope you get some great ideas and inspiration and really are able to find something you love!

Just because it’s the giving season doesn’t mean you shouldn’t treat yo’ self while you’re at it, right? 😉

15 Holiday Makeup & Beauty Gift Sets You’ll Actually Want to Buy

Holiday Eyeshadow Palettes & Makeup Gift Sets

Tarte Pineapple of My Eye Collector’s Set — I’ve been eying this this Tarte palette for some time now, and I’m very close to caving in and buying it. The shades in this palette are super pretty, and I’ve really enjoyed the Tarte products I’ve purchased in the past. Not to mention, this makeup gift set comes with more than just 24 exclusive eyeshadow shades. Also included are two Amazonian clay blushes, one bronzer, one highlighter, a deluxe sex kitten liquid eyeliner, a deluxe 4-in-1 mascara, and lip color. Not bad for $59, right?

Too Faced Gingerbread Spice Eye Shadow — This Too Faced palette was V close to being sold out on my last trip to ULTA. I’d definitely recommend getting your hands on this one before it gets even harder to come by!

Melisa Michelle Bling on the Glam Eyeshadow Palette — I actually bought this palette the last time I was in ULTA. It’s only $20 (now on sale for $12!!!), and I just couldn’t resist with all the beautiful glitter shades. I’ll be putting up a review and tutorial soon (see a sneak peek here), but I can tell you now that I do think it’s worth the money. The shades are super pigmented and really fun to work with.

BareMinerals Aurora Lights Gen Nude Eye Shadow Palette — I haven’t tried a lot of Bare Minerals products, but this looks like a great palette for anyone who’s into neutrals. There’s a lot you can do with these colors without being too bold!

MORPHE Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette — I was so bummed when I found out this palette was completely sold out at my local ULTA. I love the colors, and have been dying to try some MORPHE products. I’ve heard amazing things about the quality, and you really can’t beat the price.

Urban Decay Elements Eyeshadow Palette — I’ve heard a lot about this palette. I personally think you’re better off investing in the Tarte Pinapple of My Eye makeup gift set, since it comes with a lot more goodies beyond the palette for just $3 more. That being said, I know this Urban Decay palette has been pretty popular as of late so I wanted to include it.

Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eye Shadow — This is a palette I could definitely see myself wearing regularly. I love pink! I also own another Naked palette already and love how the shadows perform, so I’d be comfortable investing my money into another product in this line.

Holiday Skincare Gift Sets

Philosophy Amazing Grace Ballet Rose Two-Piece Holiday Set — You can’t go wrong with Philosophy, especially their signature Amazing Grace scent!

Caudalie Mini Mask Trio — I’ve been dying to try Caudalie products ever since I read The French Beauty Solution (it’s written by the founder of Caudalie, and goes into real depth on how and why their skincare products work). Their products are a little on the expensive side, so I think $18 is a great value to be able to try three of their masks with one purchase.

Drunk Elephant Rescue Party — I cannot say enough good things about Drunk Elephant! I really love their Sukari Baby Facial mask, and I’d be super interested to try this holiday skincare set too.

Fresh Sugar Lip Mile-High Club — I’m fairly certain I’ll never make a beauty guide without including Fresh’s Sugar Lip as one of my favorite options. They’re a bit pricey, but I promise these balms are completely worth it. The tints are beautiful, and they moisturize unlike anything else I’ve ever seen.

Glamglow SuperMud Superstar Set — I’ve heard so many good things about Glamglow! I definitely need to get ahold of this holiday set.

Fresh the Great Escape Face Mask Set — Another Fresh beauty set I’d recommend is their Great Escape Face Mask Set. Their skincare line is amazing, so I’d love to try this out and feel totally comfortable recommending it to you guys.

Holiday Hair Gift Sets

Briogeo Hair-o-Scopes Brightest Stars Gift Set — I’m obsessed with Briogeo. Their hair products and masks are wonderful, and they’re surprisingly one of the few brands that don’t completely saturate my thin hair and make it oily. This looks like a great gift set that I would happily purchase for myself, haha!

Sephora Collection Invisibobble Slim Trio — If you haven’t tried Invisbobble yet, just trust me when I tell you that you need to. They’re SO much better than regular hair ties. They won’t make indents in your hair, and they’re actually cute to wear on your wrist…unlike the unsightly black and tan hair ties that I often have to photoshop out of my pictures!

What do you think about the holiday makeup gift sets that have come out so far? Are there any you’re dying to try?
