This post on 15 girls night in ideas you’ll love for the perfect ladies night is sponsored by Charmed and Her Campus Media. All opinions are entirely my own.
Even when I was in college, I was never a huge fan of “going out”.
My roommates and I spent many nights in ordering Chinese food, talking about our life plans, and of course binge watching our favorite tv shows.
We even spent a handful of these wild Saturday nights creating Pinterest boards for my future wedding, haha!
However you enjoy spending your weekends, I’m sure we can all agree that a girls’ night in is a necessity at some point.
Nothing beats quality time with your best girlfriends, and it’s even better when it involves a little wine and comfy pajamas, right?
As I’m pretty much a seasoned pro when it comes to girls ideas, I thought I’d share a few tips and ideas today on how to make your girls’ night in even more fun and memorable the next time around.
Enjoy!

Girls Night — 15 Girls Night In Ideas You’ll Love
1. Get on Your PJs
One of my favorite girls night in ideas of course involves cozying up in my comfiest pajamas.
Make sure all the girls know it’s a pajama party, and even consider inviting guests to stay the night if you have the space.
It’s a lot easier to relax and have a good time when you’re comfortable, and it’s always a bonus when you know you don’t have to drive home late at night either.
2. Have a Baking Party
Most of the time, a girls’ night in at my place consists of some great conversation and our favorite tv shows.
We never, ever forget the snacks though!
Popcorn and candy is easy, and you can always order takeout too. That being said, it can also be fun to enlist your girlfriends to bake some treats with you to enjoy later in the evening.
When I was I college, we’d often make Oreo truffles, macaroons, and other desserts together on the weekends, and they’d be the perfect late-night snack during our girls nights in.
This is a great way to get the conversation flowing before you sit down to watch a movie and relax.
3. Mask it Up
Another one of my favorite girls night in ideas?
Face masks.
You guys know I’m quite the beauty junkie, so my girlfriends and I are always testing out new products during our girls’ nights.
You can even have everybody bring a different mask they already have at home, so everyone can try something new without having to buy something.

4. Turn on Your Favorite TV Show
When my friends come over for a girls’ night in, we almost always end up in front of the tv.
That’s after we’ve talked and caught up for hours of course, but we love to keep things low key when it comes to girls night ideas and just relax with our favorite tv shows at the end of the night.
One tv show I’m incredibly excited about that’s premiering October 14th at 9/8c on the CW is called Charmed.
The show is about sisters who discover they have magical powers. Ultimately, the sisters are stronger together and face their new life with the power, force, and bond of family.
Most people don’t know this about me, but I’m very intrigued by anything related to the supernatural.
That’s why I have a feeling I’m going to just adore this show!
I’ll definitely have to get a few of my girlfriends together to start watching this one.
5. Watch Some Girls Night Movies
If you’re not into a running series like my friends and I typically are, a movie night may be in order.
This is actually how one of my best friends Lia and I started watching some series together…during college we decided to have a movie night (we lived together at the time), and then it turned into a regular thing where we’d binge watch different tv shows on the weekends together!

6. Get Crafty
I’ll admit, I’m not the greatest with DIY projects.
That being said, I’m totally game for pulling a cool idea off of Pinterest and giving it a go during a girls night in.
It’s something to do, and it’s always interesting to see how the projects actually turn out.
Not to mention, a few of my friends are pretty crafty — so at least one person’s finished product ends up turning out nice!

8. Put Your Makeup Skills to the Test
Once in a while, my girlfriends and I will put our makeup skills to the test during a girls night in.
This is pretty rare since we usually just want to relax, but we’ve learned a few useful tips by staying in and testing Youtube tutorials all night before.
9. Work Out Together
If you’re feeling up to a little physical activity, plan a workout night with your friends in the comfort of your own home.

10. Plan Your Travel Bucket List
One thing that my friends and I always talk about during our girls nights in is where we want to travel.
If you know some of your friends are experiencing wanderlust as well, invite them over to help plan out their travel bucket lists.
It not only makes for great conversation, but it’s also fun and motivating to look toward the future and get excited for the places you’re eventually trying to go.
11. Plan Your Weddings
I totally was not joking when I stated above that my friends and I used to sit around and brainstorm plans for our future weddings when we lived together.
You can spend all night chatting, drinking wine, and Pinterest-ing wedding ideas and still have an appetite for more…or at least that’s how it was for us, haha!
13. Host a Book Club Night
I’ve always loved to read.
I haven’t actually done a book club as one of my girls night in ideas yet, but it’s one that I’m really looking forward to trying in the future.
With good food, good company, and a good book, you just can’t go wrong.
