If you’ve been following along on Instagram or Snapchat (@hollyhabeck), you know I spent this past weekend in one of my favorite places on earth — New York City. A blogging conference was my excuse for the weekend getaway, but I had/created the opportunity to do a lot more than just learning/networking. I’ll share more about exploring the city and the conference later this week!
The photos above were taken in literally five minutes as my blogging BFF Ruya and I walked from our hotel to the conference. And it was humid. Just thinking of it makes my upper lip sweat a little. The dress code for the conference was “collegiette chic”, which felt a little vague. So, I opted for a fun take on business casual by pairing this fitted navy dress with cheetah print flats. And I love that the toe is pointed. It helps the wild print to feel little more sophisticated. I’ve also been (and always will be) a fan of monogram necklaces. They’re very chic…and dare I say girly? I’m not known for my overly girly style, but this accent is perfect.
