Fall Outfits: The Plaid Leggings Every Girl Needs

Wow! I originally wrote this fall outfits post in 2014. A LOT has changed since then, looking back on this exactly four years later. I’m extending this post to include shoppable links to all the clothing featured in this post (similar items substituted, where necessary), but below is the original content.

I’m somewhat nostalgic about this post, as I remember going to shoot this look with my now husband, Richard, like it was yesterday.

I wanted to cry, because the photos didn’t look anything like my favorite bloggers. I didn’t know how to get that “blurred background” yet (we were shooting on automatic with a kit lens!).

Four years and dozens of photoshoots, blog posts, and brand deals later…here we finally are.

Enjoy the first post on this blog ever — I hope you don’t judge it too hard, and don’t forget to take a look at some of my newer content to see all the improvements I’ve made over the years!

Fall Outfits: The Plaid Leggings Every Girl Needs

It’s difficult to decide what I love more about Fall, the vibrant hues of the changing trees, or the onset of super comfy clothes. Leggings and a bulky, swallow-me-up sweater are my go to when it comes to fall outfits. When I romped around and explored the Rochester Institute of Technology campus though, I chose a classier, more polished look. However, slipping on these lush plaid leggings and a soft blazer was a dream. Who said business casual can’t be cozy?
