Anyone who knows me knows that my dogs are my life. After all, almost anywhere I go my chihuahua Pixie is usually in tow.
She even comes with me to the office where I work (one of my favorite perks of working for a family run business!).
Though our four-legged family has grown over the past few years, Pixie was my first dog I got as an adult.
I still remember the moment my now husband and I found her ad online, and the immediate frenzy afterwards.
We were still in college at the time, so there was of course the question of how we were going to manage being first time dog owners with so much going on.
There was never a question of if we were going to take the plunge or not though, once we found her.
Within minutes, we were on the phone making an appointment to go pick her up.
We now have an unbreakable bond, and it’s impossible to imagine what it was like before she came into our lives.
Since I have such a strong bond with my animals, I couldn’t have been more excited when I heard about The Pack Amazon Prime Video.
For those of you who haven’t heard of this new release yet, The Pack is a global unscripted series that celebrates the unrivaled bond between dogs and their humans.
The series features 12 teams of dogs and their owners on an amazing adventure spanning across multiple continents.
Oh, and did I mention there’s $750,000 at stake?
The winning duo will receive $500,000 for themselves, and an additional $250,000 prize for the animal charity of their choice.
The pair that’ll take home the prize just needs to prove that they have the strongest bond in the pack.
Teams will be judged throughout a variety of fun and exciting challenges designed to test the bond between the dogs and their human companions.
Personally, I can’t wait for this show to debut.
I think it’s such an original concept, and it’ll be a lot of fun to watch each challenge unfold.
I’m also curious about the different contestants, and what each pair will bring to the table.
