The holidays are a special time each year for a lot of reasons. Aside from spending time with family and friends, belting My Only Wish (This Year) at the top of my lungs for three weeks straight, and having an excuse to eat a few too many sugar cookies, one of my favorite things about the holiday season is the opportunity to play with makeup.
I don’t switch up my makeup routine incredibly often, but I love experimenting with new holiday releases and also shamelessly overusing one of my favorite elements when it comes to beauty products…a little SPARKLE.
If you guys have been following along on Instagram, you know that I’m having a glitter eyeshadow moment. I’m taking things to a whole new level though now, as I recently discovered wet n wild’s new MegaGlo Body Luminizer.
A product that serves as an all-over body highlighter? My name’s practically written all over it. Not to mention, all three shades of wet n wild MegaGlo Body Luminizer are cruelty-free, gluten-free, and paraben free. The gold and bronze shades are also vegan as well!
Like I said, this body shimmer comes in three shades; Heart of Rosegold, Gold Rush, and Invested in Bronze. I chose to try Heart of Rosegold, since I thought this shade would work best with my fair skin tone.
Applying wet n wild’s MegaGlo Body Luminizer was easy. All I did was apply a little of the product to a kabuki brush, and lightly blend the mixture into my collar bones for a bit of all-over highlight. I really like that this body shimmer is buildable, yet I still didn’t need a large amount to start noticing the sparkly affect.
I have to say that this product is fabulous not only for warm weather, but also for any winter/holiday looks! Even if your shoulders aren’t bare (mine certainly aren’t with the frigid NY temps lately), it’s the perfect body shimmer for your collar bones, or really anywhere else on your body that you feel like highlighting.
