I couldn’t be more happy to report that it’s finally starting to feel like spring around here! Sure, we’re about to experience lots of April showers, but looking outside and seeing green grass as opposed to snow is totally brightening my week.
Lately, given the change in the weather, I’ve been going through and reorganizing my closet according to the new season. I’ve been having so much fun stumbling upon pieces I’d forgotten about over the winter. The weather was so nice the other day, I couldn’t resist dragging R. outside for a little photoshoot of some of my favorite spring outfits. They’re so good I just knew I needed to share!
Here a few things I cannot wait to wear this spring…
Look #1: My Coziest Athleisure Wear
For a fashion blogger, I dress down pretty often.
Feeling comfy is equally important as looking cute, right?
I’m all about oversized sweatshirts this season, which always make me feel so cozy. Not to mention, they pair perfectly with my leggings and favorite slip-on shoe.
This outfit was perfect the other day when R. and I took Pixie for a little walk/jog. I’m definitely looking forward to doing more things like this outside now that the weather will be warming up!
Look #2: My Favorite “Going Out” Apparel
Now that there’s no gross slush and salt on the ground, I am so excited to be able to put on my new caged block heel. I wore the below outfit the other night when I met a few girlfriends for dinner, and I felt fabulous!
The shirt dresses things up, while the jeggings still keep it comfy and casual.
Also, side note…I ended up not be able to find parking anywhere near the restaurant we were eating at. I hustled several for several blocks in order to make it there on time, and these heels held up like total champs.
No sore feet afterwards, which made me extremely happy! I’m so excited to pair these shoes with lots more outfits this spring, knowing now how comfortable they are. And did I mention they’re insanely affordable, too? All of the shoes I’m wearing in this post are from Payless ShoeSource, where women’s shoes are as low as $19.99! Ya’ll know how I love a good deal.
Look #3: My Favorite Spring Look Overall
Last but not least, my favorite spring look overall! I’ve been trying to put together the perfect pastel spring look, but only when I opened up these beautiful bow mule shoes did I realize how well they would pair with this pink crop top/skirt combo I’ve had sitting in my closet since last summer.
I’m obsessed with pretty much anything light pink, so I know this look is going to be a total hit.
Are you guys as excited about spring fashion as I am?
I’m so ready to take on the new season, and I can’t wait to break in all three of these cute and comfy pairs of shoes from Payless ShoeSource!
