Despite popular opinion, being a 20-something isn’t actually the cakewalk it’s made out to be. Sure, there are perks (few commitments, lightning fast metabolisms, ability to party hard and not feel like *total* crap the next day [sometimes]…). What people aren’t talking about though? How about the stress and anxiety of finding a job (& possibly relocating across the country for said job)…or attempting to date (despite not even having enough time to wash your hair some days)? Yeah, being 20-something is stressful. We’re told our whole lives that *these are the BEST years of [our] lives*. Maybe it’s just me, but doesn’t that sound like a lot of pressure? How do we ensure we’re making the most out of these years, while also securing our futures, so that maybe, just maybe, we can prove our obnoxious, pessimistic AF relatives wrong and actually find immense joy beyond the age of…

This post has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and AcneFree. All opinions are mine alone. #AcneFreeSummer #CollectiveBias ICYMI, I recently celebrated my 21st birthday. I wanted to keep things pretty low key, but R. and I did take a trip up to Niagara Falls for the weekend for a little wine tour and other miscellaneous birthday shenanigans. I’m still (two weeks later 😂) working on a recap of that trip but, in total transparency, have been slammed with work since I got back. Because I’ve been so crazy busy (Side Note: Why do people ever brag about being busy?? It’s not glamorous??), I’ve been attempting to simplify my beauty routine and cut out products I don’t actually need. This has resulted in my wearing less makeup than ever before, though this isn’t atypical of me during the summertime. After all, who wants to deal with an extensive beauty process when…

Comin’ at you guys from the airport, where I’m waiting for my flight home that somehow keeps repeatedly getting delayed…Don’t ya just HATE that? It also doesn’t help that I’m a psycho and got here 194820189 hours early… Anyways though, if you’ve been following along here, you probably already know that I’ve been in NYC for the past few days. Though I’ll take almost any opportunity to visit the city that I can, this weekend was specifically dedicated to Her Conference. And for those of you who haven’t heard of this totally badass, girl powered event — get with the program. Stat. Her Conference is a two-day program put on by the media organization Her Campus. In summary, HC brings in dozens of movers, shakers, & doers of the media world (LIKE former editor-and-chief of Seventeen Magazine Ann Shoket, for example), to speak, inspire, & teach young women all about…

Wow guys, it’s *finally* here! I’ve been working on this post for so long, I actually started to wonder myself when I was ever going to publish it. But hey, Rome wasn’t built in a day…am I right? For those of you who follow along on Insta though, you’re already familiar with my recent trip to New Jersey two weekends ago. You’ve even gotten to see some real-time coverage of the event and a few shirtless TVD hotties I managed to sneak pics of for my story while I was at the con (buuuuuuut…stay tuned cause I’m about to get to the BTS deets 😉 ). For those of you who don’t know much about this little weekend getaway though, let me clue you in. Basically, one of my closest friends, Lia, and I lived together for the past two years at college. Neither of us were super into “going out”,…

Though life has been a bit wild since graduating in May (starting a full-time job, taking an acting class, keeping up with riding my horse, AND traveling every weekend this month), something that I’m trying to prioritize more and more is my health. It’s been a challenge this month in particular, since I haven’t been home much, but I’m trying to get back to the place I was at in college. I had a system down. I meal prepped. I went to the gym in the morning and did at-home workouts at night. Honestly, I’m still a bit shocked at how dedicated I was. But, that’s not so hard when you’re a college student — especially since I had a pretty light schedule my last semester at school. #TheSenioritisIsReal Though I’m still refining my wellness routine and practices, something that I’ve enjoyed doing lately is exploring different restaurants around town.…

Whew! After a whirlwind weekend in New Jersey for the 2017 Vampire Diaries Convention (stay tuned for the VLOG), I’m *finally* back. I’m exhausted AF, if we’re being honest…but I’m back nonetheless. Alive, well, and ready to get back in the hypothetical blogging saddle. Before we tackle zeehighlight of today’s post, can we take a moment of silence and appreciate THIS NEW SITE DESIGN. I finally, emphasize on the finally, switched my site over to WordPress after three years of blogging, haha. I’m so happy with how it turned out, and I will do a post on it if you guys are interested! I was super intimidated to try a new platform after getting so comfortable with my old website provider, but I’m loving the new aesthetic. Ya’ll with me, or what? Anyways, moving forward… Let’s chat about the June Popsugar Must-Have Box. If you guys have been following along,…

As evidenced by this post, I’ve been on a mission to get fit recently. A few weeks ago, I even bought and started using the Kayla Itsine’s Bikini Body Guide as my go-to for daily workouts, and my next step will be to shape up and refine my diet to be even cleaner. I’m looking forward to getting on the right track and sharing more healthy lifestyle tips and behind the scenes progress on this platform. It’s a topic I wrote about a lot more when I first started blogging, so I’m passionate about getting back to these roots, especially since I’ve noticed that health and wellness are topics that a lot of people seem to be interested in and enjoy talking about. To start it all off though, I want to tackle a term that I think we’ve all heard, and probably used ourselves (many times). Cheat meals. There’s…
