Last-Minute Holiday Decor

How is Christmas just nine days away?! I don’t know about ya’ll, but I’ve barely done any of my shopping/decorating/baking/etc. So, in lieu of a previously planned non-holiday post, I decided to dream up some last-minute inspo. I’m obsessing over ALL of these picks, especially the furry throws from Pottery Barn. So darn cute (P.S. they’re faux fur). When it comes decor this season, I’m all about creating subtle, wintery vibes instead of an overwhelmingly red and green, Christmasy explosion. Honestly, when you’re a girl on a budget (aka broke AF), ain’t nobody got the funds to cover decor for every individual holiday. Some furry throws, cute mugs, candles and such, and that’s a wrap.  That’s all for now, happy Wednesday! P.S. Some of these items are on closeout, so definitely check them out for a last-minute steal! xx, Holly

I had already spent too much furbishing other areas of the room and was about to go into a…

Holiday Mantle How To

Since we do a lot of entertaining, having a well decorated and festive home is very important to our family. We take pride not only in our beautiful Christmas trees, but also in our mantle decor. Enduring the frigidity of New York winters, we use our fireplace often during the holiday season. For this reason, we love to dress it up to match the rest of our festive home. Here are a few items you might consider purchasing (although you probably own several already!) in decorating your mantle for the holidays: 1. Fake Branches/Plants – Okay, I’m a little weary to mention this one because fake plants/flowers/branches tend to be a hit or miss. Set out to find natural looking branches though like the ones pictured above and it’s sure to add class to your mantle. I also love these faux poinsettias, which easily trick the eye. 2. Gorgeous Ornaments – Every mantle can use a little sparkle,…
