We all love a good (sunless) tan, am I right?

However, everyone also knows that one girl who straight looks like an Oompa Loompa each time she hits the tanning salon. To each their own, but I'd choose a natural, sunkissed look over a cheeto spray any day. I'm also all about tanning at home. Because who really has the time to keep up with a spray tan nowadays?

And can we just touch upon how freaking expensive spray tans are, too? Tanning beds are OUT (buh bye harmful UV rays & skin cancer scares), so it's easy for salons to jack up the price of spray tans. It sucks, since this is the safer option, and the pricing difference might encourage some people to just take the risk and opt for a tanning bed.

[In case you're wondering, the tanning salon near my house has spray tan memberships priced at 4x the cost of a tanning bed membership.]

Ya'll know I'm obsessed with all things beauty related, or at least it's pretty obvious if you spend just a bit of time on my site. However, skincare is definitely my favorite niche topic within the beauty realm.

So guys, let's talk about something v. important today.

Face wash.

Specifically, I want to chat about how to wash your face with my absolute FAVORITE face cleaner, which just so happens to be a cleanser and a makeup remover all in one. And boy do I love all-in-one products.

There's nothing like summer in New York. It's fleeting (though you still might catch us natives griping about the 90 degree temps), but it somehow makes curling up through the frigid winter all worth it. For this reason, I try to take advantage of the beautiful weather as much as possible.

Though I'm not an overly outdoorsy girl by any means, I do enjoy a nice Sunday hike, lounging by the pool, boating, etc. during the warmer months. I'm also looking forward to picnic season this summer, too. Richard and I spend a lot of time at our local parks when the weather is nice, and it's always fun to bring a snack and relax for a bit.

Oh, and my favorite part?

It's free, aside from the food and drinks you pack.

When I first started blogging almost three years ago, I was totally clueless. I read other blogs, but I pretty much had no idea how the whole shebang worked.

+ If you want to see what I mean, check out my first post ever...I'd say there's been quite an improvement, no?

Regardless, I jumped in with both feet & spent almost every night for the first year staying up until all hours researching and teaching myself everything from website design and photography, to how to land sponsorships, build an audience, earn affiliate income, increase engagement, etc.
