Hi guys, TGIF!
Last week I talked about my goal to publish more consistently now that I'm settling back in at college, but I want to treat all of you who've stuck with me through the slow month of August and who are continuing to visit the site while I develop a more consistent editorial calendar.
For those of you who have been with TBC for awhile now, you've probably heard me mention my boyfriend Richard. Richard and I got together in the beginning of my junior year of high school, and are coming up on our third year together as a couple (though we've known each other longer). He is by far my biggest fan and goes above and beyond to help and inspire me every day. Without him, I never would have gotten the push in the right direction I needed to actually start this blog. Richard is behind the scenes of about 75% of all posts on TBC, so this has been a long time coming. Read on to discover wtf I'm talking about!:
Eeeeek, I'm so excited! I hope you all will tune in Friday mornings at 9 a.m. to check out Richard's column and help make it a success. I can't wait to see what's in store!
In this social media age, where FOMO is becoming the complete norm, I often hear college girls envying fashion bloggers and other Insta stars for their seemingly "perfect" lives.
Along with those picture perfect moments are also, typically, killer outfits. After all, isn't this part of what makes us girls jealous of these social media mavens in the first place? Not only do they jet set around the world experiencing the best of each and every city under the sun, but they do it in style.
Maybe I'm just speaking for myself, but lusting after clothes that are WAY out of my budget (which I typically stumble upon through street style blogs or Instagram) is just another day in the life of a broke-a** college girl. Ya know?
