Now that the Thanksgiving leftovers are officially devoured, I am so ready for the holiday season! Egg nog and Christmas cookies are, until Dec. 26, forever on my mind. This year, I'm going to attempt to not only be more festive than ever, but also test some new recipes and party tricks. This includes festive foods and drinks, which can not only be delicious to consume, but fun to prepare! Who knows though, maybe that's just my serial DIY persona coming out.
Regardless of how great or little pleasure you take in prepping for holiday parties and family gatherings, this refreshment is so chic, yet easy to make. Also, keep in mind that this is a skinny beverage, containing much less calories than a holiday cocktail.
Here's what you need:
Measurements (1 serving):
1 1/3 cups cranberry juice
2/3 cup perrier lime sparkling water
1 lime slice
1) Cut 1/4 of a pear into small chunks and add to the bottom of glass.
2) Add cranberry juice.
3) Add lime sparkling water.
4) Garnish with 1 lime slice.
TBC Tip: Once you drain your beverage, taste the pears at the bottom of the glass. They're deliciously sour from soaking in the sparkling water!
