Thoughts on Graduating + a lacey look under $10

Our last day of classes was Friday, and I’m officially done with exams this Wednesday.

How in the world am I graduating in less than two weeks?!

It sounds so cliche, but it really does feel like it was just yesterday that I was packing for orientation, stressing about finding a roommate, gagging over the nasty dining hall meals, etc. It’s amazing how time seems to move so slowly day by day, until all of the sudden everything seems like a complete whirlwind and it’s all moving too fast! It’s honestly hard to fully enjoy these last few weeks at school just knowing that it’s almost over in the back of my mind.

It’s so funny, because college wasn’t something that I really appreciated in the moment. In fact, I think that’s the way it is with a lot of people. You stress about classes, bitch about professors, and have a lot of crazy fun moments in between…but you don’t really add up all those moments until you’re about graduate and realizing that everything is about to change.

For starters, this is probably the last few weeks I’ll ever live with my best friends. After graduation I’m going back home to save some money and figure my life out, ha! (I do have a job lined up though, in case you’re wondering.)

We’ll always be close metaphorically, but we’re each doing something different next year. Richard will also be in PA for the summer on an internship, so moving back home will be doubly weird without him there for the next few months. Needless to say, it’ll be an adjustment period…

But all that being said? I’m excited for the next chapter.

I’m happy to be starting a “real” job, and I’m looking forward to putting some money I’ll be earning towards traveling & other experiences for the next few years. I’ve always been really excited about being in my early twenties, so hopefully it’s a good time!

And as for the next few weeks…

+ I have SO much to do before I move out…namely cleaning out my closet 😉

+ We’re going on a major clothing haul on Thursday to find the perfect graduation dress

+ My roommates and I are going on a quick girls trip to a dude ranch (!) next week

+ I graduate on the 21st!

Hope you’ll come along too here…there’s bound to be some goodies you won’t want to miss!

And finally guys…this shirt.

I LOVE.

My roommate just gave it to me when she was cleaning out her closet, and I’m obsessed. I’ve actually been wanting a cami like this for awhile, so it was kind of perfect timing.

I’ve been trying to opt for more neutrals lately and have been wearing my black jeans all. the. freaking. time. They just go with everything, yaaaa know?

Also, I found a similar shirt to the one I’m wearing in these photos for under $10. So good.

Happy Monday xx,
